Heather Goldsworthy is the Director of Research and Evaluation at Temple University Harrisburg in Pennsylvania, USA, where she leads a team of researchers who perform program impact and implementation evaluations across education, government, and non-profit sectors. Prior to her position at Temple, Heather was a Research Associate at the Consortium for Policy Research in Education (CPRE) at the University of Pennsylvania. It was at CPRE that Heather led the case study component of the independent evaluation of the i3-funded scale-up of Reading Recovery across the US.
Heather received her PhD in Social Ecology from the University of California – Irvine. She specializes in qualitative research methods and narrative analysis, and approaches program evaluation from an organizational analysis perspective. Heather has conducted research in the US, Canada, and Uganda, and currently resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
